Unit services
Endocrinology The main objective of this department is the study and comprehensive treatment of the different diseases disorders of the central or peripheral nervous system affecting the population. It comprehensively cares for all pathologies and / or neurological diseases of low and high complexity.
Nutriology Nutriology is the science that is responsible for the study of the feeding process, as well as its effects on metabolism, body composition and health status.
Rheumatology Rheumatology is a medical specialty, branch of internal medicine and pediatrics, dedicated to medical disorders of the musculoskeletal system and connective tissue.
Neurology The department of neurology specializes in identifying disorders of the nervous system. It deals objectively with the prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of all diseases that involve the central, peripheral and autonomic nervous systems.
Pulmonology

Pulmonology is the medical specialty that is responsible for the diagnosis and treatment of respiratory diseases using different tests for their assessment, among which pulmonary function tests and fibro-bronchoscopy stand out.

The CEMDOE pulmonology service has excellent resources and qualified professionals to care for patients with respiratory diseases. Its mission is to care for the patient in a personal and comprehensive manner.

Internal Medicine Internal medicine is a specialty that is dedicated to the comprehensive care of the adult patient, which allows them to attend to the clinical and psychosocial aspects of hospitalized patients, in order to improve the quality of life of the people it serves.

The internist doctor guides the patient on their path through the hospital environment, coordinating the rest of the necessary specialists. It also cares for chronic patients with various diseases.
Dermatology Dermatology is a specialty of medicine that deals with the knowledge and study of the human skin and the diseases that affect it, in addition to the prevention of diseases and the preservation or recovery of skin normality.
Gastroenterology Gastroenterology is the medical specialty that deals with the study of the functioning of the digestive system and its different diseases. It is responsible for both the organs (stomach, small intestine) and the glands of the digestive system (liver, pandreas).
Clinical psychology Clinical psychology is the branch of psychology that is responsible for research, evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, prognosis, and rehabilitation of all those issues that affect mental health and that can cause discomfort or suffering in people.

He has a doctorate in medicine, with a Cum Laude mention, Pedro Henríquez Ureña National University (UNPHU). He completed his internal medicine residency at Salvador B. Gautier, where he also practiced his residency of the subspecialty in endocrinology. She also serves as Professor of National Residency of Endocrinology (RENAEN). 

She is a member of the Dominican Society of Endocrinology and Nutrition (SODENN), holding the position of treasurer in the current management and held the position of vice president and president for the period 2011-2013.

He also actively participates in the Latin American Diabetes Association (ALAD), American Diabetes Association (ADA), Endocrine Society, American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists (AACE), European Association for the Study of Diabetes (EASD), Latin American Thyroid Society (LATS) and American Thyroid Association (ATA) and is currently the national representative of the International Council on Iodine Deficiency Disorders, Lodine Global Network.
