In addition, he served as a nephrology internship professor for the Dominican Technological Institute (INTEC) and the Pedro Henríquez Ureña National University (UNPHU).
He also served as general secretary and later as president of the Dominican Society of Nephrology (SODONEF), in the period 2006-2010. He has held leadership roles as chief physician of nephrology in renowned medical centers in the country.
