Endocrine Surgery
Endocrine surgery is a subspecialty of general surgery focused on treating benign and malignant tumors affecting the endocrine glands, including the thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal, and pancreas.
Our team of highly trained endocrine surgeons specializes in the surgical management of common conditions such as thyroid nodules, goiter, and thyroid cancer, as well as the treatment of parathyroid gland tumors.
We also treat more complex conditions, although less frequently, such as tumors of the adrenal glands and endocrine tumors of the pancreas.
We accompany the patient at every stage of the process, from accurate diagnosis and surgical planning to postoperative follow-up, ensuring optimal results and a safe recovery.

Dr. Raul Alejandro Ubiñas Lugo

Dr. Raúl Ubiñas specializes in general surgery, bariatric and metabolic surgery, and advanced laparoscopic procedures. He graduated from Intec University as a Doctor of Medicine and completed his concentration in Bariatric, Metabolic, and Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery at CEDIMAT in collaboration with Intec.
In addition to his clinical practice, he teaches General Surgery at renowned universities such as Intec, UNIBE, UNPHU, and UASD. Currently, he serves as Head of the Surgical Block at the Center for Diabetes, Obesity, and Specialties (CEMDOE), leading the surgical team in advanced procedures.
