Dr.Lucia Janet Velez Garcia
Janet Vélez is a graduate in General Medicine from the Pedro Henríquez Ureña National University (UNPHU) and holds a specialization in endocrinology, obtained at the Dr. Salvador B. Gautier Hospital. She is currently the head of the Clinical Department at Cemdoe, where she leads the specialized care team in endocrinology, dermatology, gastroenterology, geriatrics, nutrition, and other specialties.
With over 35 years of experience, her career has focused on the comprehensive management of metabolic disorders, with an emphasis on diabetes and obesity.
