Doctor of Medicine with honorable Cum Laude mention from the Technological University of Santiago (UTESA) in 1996. He began his specialization studies in 1997 at the Dr. Ramón de Lara Military Hospital where he completed his residency for two years in internal medicine, to continue his training process in internal medicine and cardiology studies at the Hospital Salvador B. Gautier.
In 2003, she was admitted to the Ignacio Chávez Hospital in Mexico to specialize in echocardiography. In 2015, he was certified as a fellow of the American College of Cardiology (ACC), he is also a fellow of the Inter-American Society of Cardiology (SIAC), and a member of the Spanish Society of Cardiology (SEC).
In the Association of Graduated Cardiologists from the Dominican Institute of Social Security (ACEIDSS), he held the position of vice president. While in the Dominican Society of Cardiology (SODOCARDIO), she is an active member of the board, where she has served as vocal, president of the "cardiovascular disease in women" chapter, vice president, treasurer, and general secretary; and during the period 2017-2019 she was the president of this entity.
