Doctor of Medicine from the Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE), graduated from the European Vitreoretinal Training School in Germany and from the Retina and Vitreous fellowship program of the Clínica de Ojos Tolima in Colombia.
He has certifications in Basic and Clinical Sciences exams in Ophthalmology, as well as in Optics and Refraction from the International Council of Ophthalmology (ICO).
He is a member of the Dominican Society of Ophthalmology, the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Retina Specialist. He is also part of the European VitreoRetinal Society and the Pan American Association of Ophthalmology.
He has more than a decade of professional experience, and has worked as a retinologist at the Cardio-Neuro-Ophthalmology and Transplant Center (CECANOT).
He was a professor of the Chair of Ophthalmology at the Pedro Henríquez Ureña National University (UNPHU); He has participated as a speaker in national and international events.
